Dress – NBD from Revolve (click here)

Summer is unofficially wedding season and I don’t know about you but I’ve been invited to six weddings so far since May. It’s always hard to choose what dress to wear to the special occasion because you want to be formal but not too formal, flirty but still classy, stylish but not too out there, and of course not wear white or beige. I ordered this dress from Revolve, for my Israeli audience -it is an online store based in LA that ships worldwide. I’ve never ordered from the Revolve website to Tel Aviv but I was actually surprised by how quickly the package came. I was so excited when I received it and when I saw the dress itself I noticed how good the quality is which is really important when going to formal events. This specific dress is a wrap dress from the brand NBD and I absolutely love it. I’m going to wear it to the next wedding in August:) And in addition to this dress, I picked out a few other dresses from the Revolve website that I thought you might like. Have a wonderful week xx

Dublin Shopping Haul + More

Last week I got back from my trip to Dublin and Edinburgh so I decided to do a clothing haul for all of you to show you some of the things I got. Most of it was in Dublin, actually, because they have really great shopping. I visited all the stores that we don’t have here in Tel Aviv- And Other Stories, New Look, River Island, and more. I bought summer clothes but that could transition well to fall. In the video I also show you makeup that I ordered online to the states (which my mom brought to Dublin) and a few packages that I received in the mail when i got back, because why not? This is only the second clothing haul I’ve ever done so I hope you like it and I would love to do many more so let me know your feedback! Next time I think I will also try the items on as well:) Have a great week xx

Trip to Scotland and Ireland

Last week I flew to visit my parents and brother in Edinburgh, Scotland and it was amazing! I must say, I didn’t know what to expect before I went but when I got there I was blown away by the beauty of the city. The architecture is very medieval and the city looks like what you would imagine the Harry Potter books to look like. The trip was spent two days in Edinburgh and then two days in Dublin. Here is a short summary of what we did:

Day 1: I met my parents at the airport and we took a cab to the apartment. My brother’s wife found the cutest Airbnb on Hannover street which is right in the center of the city. We spent the day walking around Princes street doing some shopping and buying groceries. It gets dark there really late, like at about 10:30 pm so its nice to go out in the evening,

Day 2: We went to visit the Edinburgh castle in the morning, and I must say it felt a little bit like Disneyland there were so may people there! We walked up what is called the “Royal Mile” and which connects between the castle and another landmark. The castle itself was beautiful and really interesting to learn about the history of it. The view is also stunning. In the afternoon we took a walking food tour which was awesome! We hopped from bar to bar with a guide trying out local foods like Hages and stew. In the evening we went to eat fish and chips at a local bar. The fish was huge! I could only eat about a quarter of it:)

Day 3: We planned to walk around the old city and then have tea. Actual teatime with the little sandwiches and cookies like in the movies:) We had tea in a place called the Dome which was absolutely stunning! I think its a hotel and its shaped like a dome, its absolutely beautiful inside and the tea itself was really fancy and fun. After that, we had reservations at a restaurant called the Kitchin which was sooo good. I have never eaten so much food before but every course was better than the next that my tummy hurt in the end but it was worth it.

Days 4 and 5: On Saturday we had to say goodbye to my brother, his wife and daughter and we flew to Dublin. Once we arrived to Dublin we put our bags down at the hotel and just started walking around the city. I must say I was surprised how modern the city was compared to Edinburgh, it seemed like more of a European city and there were people of all different types. Also, the girls there are so stylish! They are all wearing stuff that was on trend and their makeup was flawless. Dublin is also where I did most of my shopping because the stores were just so good. All of those small brands you see on Asos had actual stores in Dublin like River Island, New Look, Warehouse and more. I’ll do a Dublin shopping haul soon on my Youtube channel so I can show you everything I bought from there:)

Hope I gave you some helpful info for your next trip to Scotland or Ireland and if you have any questions or comments feel free to message me or drop a line below. Have a great weekend! xx

Glitter Sandals and XL Sleeves

shoes Bershka // top Zara // Skirt Shein

I saw these shoes on a few bloggers on Instagram and fell in love! I really wanted a pair of platform shoes, I’ve always been a fan. These have a white platform sole with a woven part and then the straps are glitter which are the best part. I paired them in this outfit with a miniskirt and a cropped sweatshirt. The sweatshirt I picked up from the sale section at Zara last week and I loved the XL sleeves. It might still be available because I recently got it and the shoes are on sale from Bershka as well. Hope you love the look! Until next time xx

I’ve been wearing these sneakers everywhere. I love their vintage look and the color combo makes them fun for the summer. Its nice to pair them with a more girly look so I am wearing them here with a sheer dress over shorts and a tee. I bought these shoes when I was on a trip to Berlin last month but you can also find them in the link above, the Nike website ships to Israel and they have so many different styles and colors. Hope you like this look and until next time! xx Karen

I came upon this bag on Net-A-Porter and it was really love at first site. I had just gotten my first Chanel bag on eBay so I didn’t want to splurge on another designer bag so quickly. A few months passed, and somehow the bag kept popping up everywhere- you know how that happens after you see something you like? Net-A-Porter is a great site but I thought I might try my luck on secondhand online stores to see if I could find it there at a lower price. Low and behold- a girl was selling it on eBay!! Oh, how I love eBay. I quickly messaged her to see if it was a real bag but I could see from her reviews and other items that what she was selling was definitely authentic. Side note- a good tip to find out if what you want to buy in eBay is actually authentic: check to see if the seller has sold items before and if he has had reviews. If the seller is new and there are no reviews- most likely it is fraud! They will sell you a bag but it is probably fake. Also- open up a new tab in your browser with the real bag on a site like Saks or Norstrom, and then zoom in to see if the details match perfectly. If they don’t, it is a fake bag! I learned this the hard way:/

Anyway, the bag goes for around $740 on Net-A-Porter, it looks like its currently sold out there but I can leave the link here for you. I bought mine from a woman named Lori on eBay who actually sells a lot of secondhand designer bags. I can leave you a link to her eBay store here. I bought it from her for $450 which was really a steal. It was in perfect condition, not really sure why she was selling it but she probably just didn’t want it anymore. It is a really small bag though- must be noted- that what fits in there is only keys, a tiny card holder and an iphone 6 or 7, not an iphone plus. But I don’t mind that, I actually like really small bags they are great for going out at night or for events. Hope this post was helpful guys and please feel free to leave me feedback or if you have any questions about the bag or shopping on eBay in general. Until next time! xx Karen

Plaid Pants + Rolling Stones Tee

I’ve been loving the gingham trend lately – so I decided to try a different spin on it. I’m not sure if these pants are considered gingham, they seem like just plaid to me. What is the difference between the two anyway? I decided to pair them with a rolling stones tee that I picked up at Zara a few months ago. The pants themselves are from Brandy Melville, last year I believe, and the loafers are Asos which I ordered recently. I like the laid back and edgy feel of the look but its very casual and good for summer. I love mixing and matching prints/graphics so this outfit was a favorite of mine. Hope you like it, too! Until next time xx Karen

Last week I was invited to the launch event of the H&M summer 2017 collection in Tel Aviv. It was located at the Hayarkon park and there was a beautiful setup near the river with a photoshoot set made from items from the H&M home shop. A few other bloggers and I had the chance to look through the new collection and pick out some of our favorites to photograph. There was also a girl who made flower crowns which I love! This one is beautiful right? So I decided to pick out this metallic dress that’s perfect for a summer party or event and then paired it with a more casual item – these green velvet slides which are stunning. So in love with them. Hope you love this look! The new collection is now in stores in Tel Aviv and all over Israel so you can find these items there. Have a great week xx Karen

So excited for these shoes! I first saw them on Bella Hadid in some magazine shoot that was published and she looked so cool- very 70s retro. Then I was looking everywhere for them here in Tel Aviv but they were nowhere to be found. The Cortez sneaker is a vintage style from years ago and they don’t always carry all the colors. I knew I wanted only the red and blue version that I saw in the magazine. So my boyfriend and I flew to Berlin and I ended up finding them there on the last day at the huge Nike store in the city center- best part? They were 15% off so I only paid 68 euros for them! So amazing. Anyway, hope you like how I styled these shoes and you will be seeing a lot more of them on my Instagram feed all summer long 🙂 xx Karen

Bershka Look

Karen Or, Israeli fashion blogger from Street Chic Tel Aviv, wears a total look from bershka #bershkastyle

I was invited last week to the opening of a new Bershka store at the local mall here in Tel Aviv called Azrieli. I picked up a few items from the new collection that I loved. The store itself was empty because it was actually the day before the opening so everything was laid out for us to see and there were so many fun trends that I wanted to try. The slip-on shoe trend is a big one so I got these silver ruffled slides that are so cute. I’ve worn them almost everyday this week 🙂 Then I’ve been seeing the hair band/scarf trend everywhere and I wanted to try it so I got this super cute blue and white headband that has kind of a nautical feel to it. The embroidered shorts were a gem I got after I found the matching cropped sweatshirt with the graphic print logo- which we’ve also been seeing everywhere. So basically, this entire outfit is all the trends lumped together but I think it works pretty well together, don’t you? See you guys next time and stay tuned for another fashion DIY video coming soon xx Karen

Last weekend my boyfriend and I flew to visit his sister who lives in Berlin. I’ve never been to Berlin before, let alone Germany, so I was very excited to go. We only planned to be there for 3 days and 3 nights because we didn’t have too much time, my boyfriend had to be back at work/school, but we definitely made the most of it. On the first day we visited the center of the city (although there are many centers because Berlin is a huge city) but we decided to go by the memorials, statues and make our way to Fredrichstrasse (I’m not sure if I’m spelling it right I’m sorry!) That is the main street where there are a lot of stores and restaurants. I discovered the store “And Other Stories” which is HM’s sister company also related to COS 🙂 I must say I loved their clothes especially the new swimsuits but the price points were really high – almost like those of COS and I was sure it was going to be cheaper. After that we took the subway to Alexanderplatz which is another shopping center and the home of Primark! Never been to Primark before and I’ve heard so many things about it from other bloggers and people who visit Europe. I have to say, we went there on a Saturday so it was completely packed with people and I didn’t love it so much. Everything there looked pretty cheap- stuff you can find at Target and TJ Maxx in the states although I guess their prices are really low so it is a good deal. Pascal, my boyfriend, ended up doing most of the shopping- I just bought a pair of nerdy glasses for 3 euros 🙂

On the second day, it was a Sunday, so we decided to visit the famous Mauerpark- definitely the highlight of my trip! Mauerpark is like the flea market of Berlin, but it also feels a bit like a festival because there are many amazing food trucks and performances on the grass by really talented singers/musicians. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, and the shopping there is great, too! So many cool vintage finds. On the last day, we decided to visit the Berlin Wall, but of course it started raining on us. We took the subway there and had to run through the streets in order not to get soaking wet. I was able to get one good photo there as you can see above:) Then we took cover in a local cafe which was so cute! Distrikt Cafe, its called, if you’re ever in Berlin you should definitely visit there. Finally, we made our way to another shopping area where there was a huge Nike store and I ended up finding the shoes I’ve been looking for everywhere – the Cortez sneaker in blue and red, and they were on sale for 68 euros! How cool is that:) All in all, I absolutely loved our trip to Berlin. Although it was pretty short, it was fun to visit Pascal’s sister and we did get a lot into the few days that we were there. Stay tuned for a Youtube video next where I show you all the shopping I did in the states and Berlin:) Until next time, xx Karen

DIY Tutorial – Lace Up Pants

Latest of my DIY tutorials! This one has to be my favorite so far. Inspired by Kim K and Kylie Jenner, I’ve been seeing these pants everywhere but couldn’t find a pair that I liked online. So I decided to make it myself, of course. The tutorial is actually a pretty easy one- you just need a sewing machine to attach the eyelet tape. If you don’t have one- borrow from someone or have someone stitch the seams for you! Hope you like this tutorial and until next time! xx Karen
