watch by Danish Design (link) // Zara pants // Miu Miu bag
If you watched my last shopping haul on YouTube you saw this blazer that I got from Warehouse on Asos. I love the fit and the quality of it so I’ve been wearing it everywhere lately. This outfit I paired it with a slip dress and white boots (also from the haul, I got them from Free People). The stunning watch is from a brand I recently discovered called Danish Design. This one is a dark greyish silver color with rose gold accents, its absolutely beautiful and the color combination makes it go with every outfit. I left the link to Danish Design watches in Israel above but you can also find their website linked here. Hope you love this outfit and stay tuned for a new hair tutorial next on Youtube 🙂
I just returned from another trip to visit my parents in the US with my boyfriend for the holidays. My parents live in the SF Bay Area, I grew up there and moved here to Tel Aviv when I was 19 and have lived here ever since. Every year I go to visit them around this time, and I always love to go to catch up on my shopping because its so much better there:) This time a lot of my friends were there also visiting so we did a lot of day trips up north to the Russian River and to Santa Cruz as you can see in the photos. I also love visiting my dog Toffee who is the most adorable labradoodle you’ve ever seen. My boyfriend and I also flew down to LA to visit some friends there and it was so fun to see them.
This time going was a little bit different in the shopping sense I felt like I really had a new experience. I would usually shopping at local malls and in the streets of San Francisco but this time I realized that most of the shopping I did if not all was online. This is a fairly different experience for me because here in Israel people don’t usually buy online but it has really become a norm in the US. Even to the point where we would go to visit stores and they would tell us a lot of the times that the item that we want isn’t available in store but that we had to order it online. Then what’s the point of even going to the store?! It was just a new experience for me and it kind of made me think of the future. Would there not be anymore malls in the future? Would everything eventually be online? Would we ever leave the house the buy anything? Just some interesting things to think about. Hope you all had an amazing summer and looking forward to winter and a new year:) xx Karen
I’ve never been really girly or into the color pink but ever since the millennial pink trend started happening I’ve slowly learned to embrace it. Actually, it can be styled to be very sexy and edgy if you do it right. Even if you add ruffles to the mix, it can still look cool and modern so I picked out a few photos that I found of this fun new trend and of course I styled it myself. In the outfit below I’m wearing a top by River Island and pink jeans by Zara. The beige flats are also from Zara and I paired the outfit with a regular oversized straw bag because I’ve been really into those lately. Actually I can’t stop wearing this straw bag everywhere so its definitely been a summer staple. I hope you love this look! And that I’ve inspired you to try this pink and ruffly trend:) Until next time xxx Karen
I saw this denim skirt on Kendall Jenner in an article in Vogue a few months back. I fell in love with the skirt and instantly clicked through to see the details. I had a feeling I could try to make it myself and bookmarked it to try for later. When I started planning it out I realized it would be a bit of work but in the end I managed! All you have to do is take two old pairs of jeans and put them together in patches. Meaning, the first step is deconstructing the denim so that you have 4 pieces: the right front, right back, left front and left back. After you do that you have 8 pieces so you just rearrange them in a way that fits the pattern here. You can also zoom into the image of Kendall Jenner to see how it is there. I thought it would be hard to sew the denim on denim in my sewing machine but actually it wasn’t that bad. The hard part was connecting the top and bottom pieces with a perfect seam because that is what would be seen from the front. The rest is pretty straightforward and actually there is not much work because the hems are left raw and deconstructed including the slit in the front and back. I was so pleased with how this came out I wear this skirt all the time! It goes perfectly with a crop top like I’m wearing here or a bodysuit. Hope you love it, too. I’ve added the DIY video I made for my YouTube channel below. Message me if you have any question or comments! Until next time xx Karen
High rise jeans are my favorite must-have item and when I was looking around the Revolve website I came upon these Helena high rise jeans and knew I had to have them. They are a little loose fit so they go perfectly with a crop top or bodysuit. I paired them here with a shoes from Zara and white sunnies for summer. Looking forward to wearing them all throughout Fall, too. I was digging through the website again and found a few more items that I love- made a little collage for you below. Hope you like it! All the items are linked below as well as the jeans xx
Summer is unofficially wedding season and I don’t know about you but I’ve been invited to six weddings so far since May. It’s always hard to choose what dress to wear to the special occasion because you want to be formal but not too formal, flirty but still classy, stylish but not too out there, and of course not wear white or beige. I ordered this dress from Revolve, for my Israeli audience -it is an online store based in LA that ships worldwide. I’ve never ordered from the Revolve website to Tel Aviv but I was actually surprised by how quickly the package came. I was so excited when I received it and when I saw the dress itself I noticed how good the quality is which is really important when going to formal events. This specific dress is a wrap dress from the brand NBD and I absolutely love it. I’m going to wear it to the next wedding in August:) And in addition to this dress, I picked out a few other dresses from the Revolve website that I thought you might like. Have a wonderful week xx
